Supply Chain Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as the supply chain manager for a newly established program management office. Maintain day to day accountability to support logistics movements of material supporting an intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) program. Support the purchasing of a high volume and variety of complex technical materials, supplies, equipment, and services, including new specialized networking technologies and secured architectures. Evaluate and provide recommendations on bids, select and recommend suppliers, and negotiate price, delivery, quality, and service. Follow up on all awards until completion of order. Supervise the negotiation and settlement with suppliers regarding damaged claims, rejections, losses, returns of materials, over shipment, cancellations, and engineering changes. Conduct supplier site visits and rate them regarding production capability, performance, and delivery, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with managing supply chain and logistics

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with supporting the DoD

  • Experience with providing supply chain management supporting contractor owned and operated systems

Clearance:
