Position Title: Transportation Clerk

Location: Aurora, IL

Reports to: Logistics Manager – Connected Home & Security

Job Summary:

Newell Brands is seeking a Transportation Clerk to join our Supply Chain team. The role is responsible for assisting the Logistics Manager in enabling the daily management of international and domestic shipments. The candidate will work in a dynamic, fast-growing environment and will be based at our Aurora, IL headquarters.

Job Duties:

• Assist in freight payment settlement, coding, auditing, and finance accrual reports to measure spend performance

• Providing clerical support and data entry for tracking inbound/outbound KPI’s and compliance

• Participate in daily meetings as needed and with the Logistics Department

• Help with daily transportation activities as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 months to 1 years’ related experience in office environment

• MS Excel and Excel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong team player, able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external business partners

• Good problem resolution skills, time management, prioritization and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Transportation experience

• SAP Experience

• Adaptable to various clerical routines requiring speed accuracy, flexibility and confidentially
