Job SummaryResponsible for daily shipping and receiving of products and materials to andfrom vendors and field bases.Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Expedited shipping and receiving of aircraft parts and supplies to andfrom domestic and international vendors or field base locations to meetpre-defined due dates. Inspects, verifies, and documents air worthiness of parts inaccordance with Federal Aviation Requirements (FAR) using Ramco aviationsystem software. Performs daily scanning of associated paper work into "Air Vault"document imaging system. Performs shipping and receiving of hazardous materials in compliance withInternational Air Transport Association (IATA) and Code of FederalRegulations, Chapter 49 (CFR49) Other duties as assigned could include but not limited to safe operationsin compliance with Air Methods Safety management System (SMS) andparticipation in 6S lean initiative for organization and cleanliness ofassigned work areas.Additional Job Requirements Regular scheduled attendance Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 0%Subject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, regular attendanceis an essential function of the position.
