Air Methods Shipping Receiving Coordinator - Centennial, CO in Centennial, Colorado

Job Summary Responsible for daily shipping and receiving of products and materials to and from vendors and field bases. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: • Expedited shipping and receiving of aircraft parts and supplies to and from domestic and international vendors or field base locations to meet pre-defined due dates. • Inspects, verifies, and documents air worthiness of parts in accordance with Federal Aviation Requirements (FAR) using Ramco aviation system software. • Performs daily scanning of associated paper work into “Air Vault” document imaging system. • Performs shipping and receiving of hazardous materials in compliance with International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter 49 (CFR49) • Other duties as assigned could include but not limited to safe operations in compliance with Air Methods Safety management System (SMS) and participation in 6S lean initiative for organization and cleanliness of assigned work areas. Education & Experience • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 1-3 years Shipping and Receiving experience preferred • Ability to operate a Fork Lift Skills • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task • Dependable and self-motivated Computer Skills • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Certificates, Licenses, Registrations • Forklift Certification preferred • Hazmat Shipping Certification preferred Air Methods is an EEO/AA employer.
