The Salvation Army of Grand Junction is seeking a Baler/Receiving Clerk in our Clifton Thrift Store. The baler/receiving clerk is directly responsible for baling of “rag-out” collected from all local Salvation Army stores and monitors receiving, ensuring correct and safe intake of donations. Oversees baling operations and bale truck preparation and loading, including operating warehouse equipment such as a forklift, baler, and cargo lift. The baler/receiving clerk also assists with electronics and works as a member of the production team when all other assigned duties are finished or as directed by Store Manager. This is a part time, non-exempt, hourly position.

Requirements

 High school diploma or equivalent is required for all Intermountain Division positions.

 Must successfully complete a background screening.

 Possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.

 Able to operate warehouse equipment such as a forklift, baler, & cargo lift.

 Knowledge of electronics equipment

 Able to comply with all safety procedures
