SAIC EDIS Logistics Analyst in COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado
SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst for the Engineering, Development, Integration, and Sustainment (EDIS) program in support of the Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) task order located in Colorado Springs, CO. The EGS mission is to continuously deliver tactical C2 services, that when integrated with mission specific capabilities, will fully enable warfighting effects to maintain U.S. space dominance.
This position is in a warehouse setting conducting shipping, receiving, obsolescence and inventory management for material according with DOD, Air Force, SMC and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), EGS Govt Supply Chain of Custody, and Property Asset Management requirements.
Performsa combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may workout of a central warehouse.
Usescomputer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting standardlogistical processes.
Buildsrelationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities,distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industrygroups, and professional training to continuously improve competitiveposition.
Supportreceiving, replacing, and retiring of HW and SW inventory and components
Applyprocesses in accordance with DOD, Air Force, SMC and Federal AcquisitionRegulation (FAR), EGS Govt Supply Chain of Custody, and Property AssetManagement requirements.
Workis reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives.
BS inBusiness, or Related field. Additional years of experience may beconsidered in lieu of degree
Mustpossess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain aTS/SCI Clearance
5+years’ experience in Logistics or related acquisition support for Space orMissile Systems, Advanced Systems Development, or Ground Systems and SpaceOperations
Strongbackground in Microsoft Office Product Suites: Excel, Word, PowerPoint,Project, Visio
Goodunderstanding of discipline process; information and data management
Contributeto the completion of programs and projects; ability to obtain results andmake recommendations
Abilityto provide high level summary of results and draw conclusions based oninterpretation of data
