The Management philosophy ofpromoting from within is designed to enhance your personal career growth.Position SummaryTBG is seeking a Joint Intelligence Exercises Planner to conduct JointIntelligence Exercise Planning activities at the newly established USSPACECOM.Principle Responsibilities of the Position:* Position responsible for developing, documenting, and orchestrating theUSSPACECOM intelligence enterprise during Combatant Command exercises,wargames, and technology demonstrations.* The Joint Intelligence Exercises Planner shall coordinate and integrate DoDand national intelligence capabilities to challenge, train, and assessUSSPACECOM intelligence enterprise. The position shall support intelligencereadiness across all ongoing operations and planning efforts.* Joint Intelligence Exercises Planner shall document intelligence gaps andshortfalls and supports readiness reviews. Informs and advises JFSCC J2,J25, and J28.* Coordinates with USSPACECOM J3, J5, J7, and J8.* Joint Intelligence Exercises Planner shall apply Joint doctrineprinciples, instructions, and manuals supporting the development ofcampaign, contingency and crisis planning.* The position shall monitor and review strategies, doctrine, policies,directives, and instructions from higher echelon headquarters and makesrecommendations to ensure compliance and / or consideration in planningefforts* Integrates strategy, guidance and directives into exercises, wargamesand technology demonstrations. Documents exercise scenarios, wargamestructure, and technology demonstration objectives in support of USSPACECOMpriorities.* The position shall coordinate and document intelligence assessments,lessons learned and readiness reviews.Education Required:* Master's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college oruniversity accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department ofEducation; or have Bachelor's degree related to the labor category from acollege or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S.Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related seniorexperience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree.* The Joint Intelligence Exercises Planner shall demonstrate proficiency incommon Joint Intelligence Exercise Planning concepts.* Previous experience as a Joint Intelligence Exercise Planner at a CombatantCommand.* A Joint Professional Military Education (Phase II) completion, andJoint Intelligence Planner Course (Phase I) completion are highly desired.* Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor categoryactivities required to meet mission requirements.* For analysts, demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitativeanalytic methodologies and pursues developments in academia or other fieldsthat affect tradecraft methodology.* For analysts, demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, orunique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address andcontribute to high-level tasks.* For analysts, demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations andknowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries andclearly articulates key findings.* Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.* For analysts, demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogentarguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions;routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.* Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category withat least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
