You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems. Kyle W. Johnson, RCDD, PMP, CTS leads this team with over 30 years’ experience and is an Army MI veteran. The team has been recognized by the customers for their outstanding contributions to several contracts and programs .
The Logistics Analyst IIIEnhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May report to an executive or a manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
In this role you will be working in clearance required facilities:
Working with the customer on scheduling, tracking and deployment of Government Owned Equipment (GFE)
Maintaining accountability of GFE through computer-based software.
Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
Gather and organize information on problems or procedures.
Prepare manuals and train warehouse staff workers in use of new forms, reports, procedures, or equipment, according to organizational policy.
Clearance – Must have an Active and Current DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
Experience: Six (6) years ofoverseeing the entire life cycle of a product, including purchase, distribution, internal allotment, release and final clearance of resources in a government setting.Familiarity with DoD procedures for shipment, receipt, and storage of supplies. Monitor the external environment and internal trends to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) in the supply chain, to include, performing and implementing required response for the customer.
Work will be performed inside a large government facility.
Work assignments vary based on client requirements.
Standard Office and warehouse Setting
Be able to wear PPE on construction site from time to time
Must be able to sit, stoop, kneel or crouch for long periods of time.
Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperature than standard office environmental conditions.
Lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds.
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is mandatory.
It is important to be able to work any shift/designated hours required.
You may be asked to continue performance during inclement weather or other conditions when others are not permitted to work
Position may require night and weekend work and could include travel
Other Essential Functions
Employment is contingent upon obtaining all required certifications within the timeframe specified in a waiver by the government (if applicable) and maintaining required certifications through the duration of the contract. Failure to obtain/maintain required certifications will result in disqualification for this position and could result in termination.

Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Grooming and dress must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
