The NOALS team at Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSS) is looking for you to join our team as a Senior Principal Logistics Management Analyst based out of Schriever AFB, CO.

What You'll get to Do:

Facilities Representative for the NOALS Program supporting the NRO Operations Squadron (NOPS) at Schriever Air Force Base. Tasks include planning and preparation of site designs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing and office furniture installations), generation of BOM for site projects, installation of plumbing and electrical hardware and materials, testing of electrical and plumbing installations, maintenance of baseline drawings, conducting building safety and fire inspections, escorting of vendors, facility PMIs and development/updating of facility programs and procedures. Escort Base contractors and inspecting work done by same. Respond to emergency and routine job orders related to all aspects of Facility Management ranging from electrical to pest control. Participating as an active member of the base Facility Utilization Board and representing the NOPS commander at Base meetings. Candidate will be responsible for the storage, distribution, inventory management and records maintenance of multiple items in a warehouse setting. Performing a combination of manual and clerical tasks including asset management of all phases of material usage to include: procurement, receiving, documentation, storage, inventory/audit, issuing and retiring of equipment. Shipping and receiving duties may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. Verifies quantity, weight and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations. May layout, fabricate and assemble nonstandard crating and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment. Ensure that customer service and time objectives are met within financial constraints. Performs data entry and maintenance on various computer systems. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes. Uses a computer aided engraver to produce products for the customer. Maintains warehouse safety posture on a continuing basis, supervises janitorial employees to ensure cleanliness of the warehouse areas. Delivers items from warehouse storage to customer location or other areas as needed. Directly assist Government Property Officer with equipment procurement and accountability. Performs other tasks, varied in nature, as assigned. Position requires some periods of travel.

Responsibilities are in more than one of the following facilities areas: facilities and property administration, office planning, corporate leasing or real estate coordination. Works closely with and/or provides advice and counsel to company and/or vendor representatives coordinating major facility constructions or modifications or leasing and real estate activities

Salary Range:

Minimum to maximum salary range

$91,853 - $137,779

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - 10 years' experience working within the Facilities and Logistics areas; 8 years with Master's

  • Experience with asset management database data entry and maintenance

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

  • Position requires an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) and CI polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the Facility Installation Standards at Schriever AFB

  • Environmental and Safety training

  • Able to address multiple issues simultaneously

  • Motivated self-starter driven by successful accomplishment of tasks

  • Able to communicate effectively with various personality types including government personnel and vendors

  • Flexible schedule in regards to holidays

  • Familiarity with Department of Defense asset control and property movement processes

  • Colorado State Driver's license and ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles

  • Ability and willingness to perform many diverse tasks

  • Ability to use MS Office suite (Word, Power Point, Excel) and other software packages

  • Able to lift 40 lbs from ground level to overhead

  • Ability to create and follow standard processes and clearly document results

  • Knowledge of communication theory and experience with antenna systems.

  • Experience with ITAR and international agreements.

  • Experience with Design Review and new facility construction
