Raytheon Sr Contract Negotiator in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Raytheon IIS's Mission Systems (MS) Contracts Team is seeking a Sr. Contracts Negotiator to support the U.S. Air Force North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex Integrated Tactical Warning/Attach Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract (NISSC). The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily administration of the NISSC IDIQ contract, including Request for Proposal (RFP) assessment, capture, and proposal strategy, negotiations, and performance compliance. This position will be a key customer interface for contracting matters and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining trust and cooperation with the U.S. Air Force. The selected candidate will advise program management of contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate contractual/program risks, as well as other tasks as assigned by the NISSC Contracts Manager and MS Sr. Contracts Manager. The NISSC Program is a high-visibility assignment, providing Sustainment and Operations, Maintenance and Services (OM&S) support to the NORAD mission. The successful candidate with will have the ability to collaborate closely with the Program Director and personnel at all levels to produce contractual results within the framework of Raytheon Policies and Procedures. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO. Required Skills: • Minimum of 6 years of Contracts Experience • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance • Experience and knowledge of the FAR and DFAR and acquisition policies and procedures • Demonstrated Sole Source Negotiation experience Desired Skills: • Experience with of US Air Force as a customer or US Force acquisition policies and procedures • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Customer-focused Negotiation style • Good Problem solving skills • Existing Secret Clearance Required Education (including major): • Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain, JD, or similar or equivalent combination of education and experience ( Bachelor Degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience). 119153
