Coors Distributing Company (CDC) is one of the nation’s leading beer distributors based out of Denver, CO. We are the critical link between our brewery suppliers that produce the beer and the retail outlets where they are sold, as well as the restaurants and bars where they are consumed. Major brand acquisitions occurred in January of 2010 making Coors Distributing Company one of the top 25 largest beer distributors in the country with over 30 suppliers, roughly 14 million cases per year, and nearly 400 employees.

The Headlines:

In the role of Non-CDL Delivery Driver working in Denver, CO you will be part of the delivery team. This person will safely and efficiently deliver the company's products to retail accounts from a small commercial truck. Their primary focus will be deliveries to small, chain retailers such as Walgreens, CVS, etc. You must be able to work with minimal supervision and have the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

This position reports to Delivery Supervisor and collaborates with the Delivery, Warehouse, and Sales teams.

The position pays 18.00 dollars an hour & you will not be required to hold a CDL Class A or B license. A regular Colorado driver's license will suffice.

The Responsibilities:

  • Ensure assigned truck has the proper inventory before leaving and returning to the warehouse, and is accountable for all products associated with inventory

  • Complete the assigned route in a safe, accurate, and efficient matter in varying weather conditions and challenging environments (i.e. stairs, curbs, docks, tight parking lots, etc.)

  • Navigate the city by reading addresses and using a map

  • Follow all DOT pre/post trip procedures

  • Utilize GeoTab app for pre and post trip records

  • Execute quality of service in accounts including: rotation, stocking shelves, building displays, and organizing product

  • Present a professional attitude and appearance

  • Must comply with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) laws and regulations along with Coors Distributing Company Policies and Procedures

  • Other duties as assigned

The Other Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; must be at minimum 21 years of age

  • Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle record (MVR) must fall within the MolsonCoors Pre-Employment Background Screening Guidelines

  • Must be capable of handling and delivering 500 to 1,500 cases per day averaging 30lbs

  • Must be capable of stacking/lifting and delivering 75 to 90 kegs per day, each keg weighing 165lbs

  • Effective communication with retailers & all levels of the organization including: customer service, conflict resolution, listening skills, reading/writing/speaking English language, etc.

  • As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check

Job Posting Hourly Rate: $18.00
