Autopay Director, Automotive Title Administration in Denver, Colorado

The Director, Titles Administration is responsible for supporting the strategic and operational management of the Titles department. The Director will research, develop, implement, and oversee projects and initiatives related to expanding, optimizing, and streamlining title processing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:

  • Understand and demonstrate the principles of AUTOPAY?s Mission, Vision, and Values.

  • Define and monitor daily processes to insure department and company objectives are met.

  • Compile and analyze departmental and title reports as required.

  • Review current title processes and identify key challenges to improve overall efficiency and title completion.

  • Identify and research title management best practices and develop and implement policies, processes, and procedures to drive continuous improvement within the titles department.

  • Design and implement efficient processes to streamline vehicle payoff process and title release.

  • Stay up to date with trends, regulations, and laws related to state title processing and electronic liens and titles.

  • Actively stay up to date with information and technology affecting the functional area to increase innovation and ensure compliance.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for budget spending, labor, and material efficiency and staffing requirements.

  • Evaluate and implement strategic relationships with external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with EVP and Titles Manager to identify training opportunities to enhance and ensure high levels of service to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required. Master?s a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of management experience. Must have experience in all phases of vehicle titling, including title management for purchase and refinanced loans and vehicle remarketing

  • Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Ability to speak read and write fluent English. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on communication of channel operations. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and objectively coach associates and manage through complex issues. Strong self-motivation and a sense of urgency and responsibility required.

  • Analytical: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify improvement opportunities, evaluate options, and develop agency solutions. Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and performance dashboards that represent ideas clearly and concisely; ability to research and analyze key metrics Ability to plan and execute strategies. Detail-oriented with the ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently. Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills. Strong conflict and problem resolution skills.

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Technical: Comfort with Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel ability. Proficient in Microsoft Access. Strong project management and work-flow experience are preferred. Ability to use and manipulate data in Excel as well as manage large amounts of data.

  • Leadership: Proven people leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of associates. Ability to provide continuous performance feedback and encourage growth, offering professional development opportunities to staff. Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute business strategies that meet the strategic needs of the organization. Ability to work under stressful situations. Ability to lead large scale risk management initiatives.

  • Other: High level of personal motivation, professionalism, and integrity required. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment.

Starting Salary Range: $100K - 120K Physical Demands
