We are looking for an dedicated individual to join our team asLead Driver.The Driver Lead will assist in coordinating all daily distributions. Thisposition will be responsible for assisting the Distribution Supervisor inensuring the safe and timely delivery of quality products to conveniencestores are completed in a professional and cost effective manner by runningroutes and training new drivers.E.A. Sween is an Equal Opportunity Employer -Minority/Female/Veteran/DisabilityEssential Competencies of the Role:Assist and ensure all proper processes are being followed by each driver,including manifests, FER's, DOT logs, tablet usage, and driver issuelogs on a daily basis.Assist in training and coaching all drivers following training guidelines andBest Practices.Assist with monitoring fleet of trucks daily to ensure all trucks are cleanand in good repair for delivery.Be responsible for, and follow safety, health, HACCP, and OSHAregulations by participating in and leading safety meetings, reportinghazardous conditions and performing job according to Best Practices.Follow processes for the vehicle crash and workman comp reporting proceduresto assist drivers in completing incident reports and contacting FleetResponse.Required Qualifications:Comply with DOT regulations and have a valid Driver's License in the statewhich you reside.Must be a good team player and be able to effectively communicate with CDCcustomers and employees.Must have an MVR within established company guidelinesMust be willing to work weekends, holidays, or when requested to supportthe 24/7 businessMust be at least 18 years of age.Preferred Qualifications:Previous training, lead, or supervisory experienceIntermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office SuitePhysical Demands and Work Environment:Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 35 degrees - 75 degreesFahrenheit.Must be able to repetitively lift/carry up to 75 pounds and push/pull upto 250 pounds.Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, andsquatting and frequent reaching over shoulder, waist level, and from thefloor.Must be able to work in a fast-paced night time environment.QualificationsEducationBiz-Lead (preferred)Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate againstemployees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, ordisclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.However, employees who have access to the compensation information of otheremployees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannotdisclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do nototherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is(a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtheranceof an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including aninvestigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with thecontractor's legal duty to furnish information. 41 CFR 60-1.35(c)E.A.
