Lyft is looking for a hands-on Operations Specialist to help supervise operations associates, drivers, and mechanics on the Lyft Bikes & Scooters team in Denver. You will report to an Operations Manager and work together to assure reliability and availability of our scooter and bike fleet, as well as overall operational excellence for the program. This job is based in our warehouse. This role will support a team running operations 24/7.

You will support 8 to 10 hour shifts, predominantly overnight (ex. 10pm - 6am). However, this role may work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Manage daily field operations at our facility in Denver

  • Oversee, dispatch, and route team to pickup, deploy, and reposition a fleet of bikes and scooters

  • Supervise operations associates, drivers, and mechanics working in the facility or out in the field

  • Build new, local operational processes that help Lyft scale

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter - you naturally take ownership, look for opportunities to drive value, and do whatever it takes to achieve results

  • Monitor and maintain operational and quality metrics to evaluate performance

  • Perform physical tasks as needed, which can including moving, charging, and maintaining scooters

  • Perform supplemental work in one or more ownership categories assigned to you


  • Experience supervising teams in a complex, fast-moving, rapidly changing environment such as a distribution warehouse, restaurant, or delivery operation

  • Strong sense of ownership, and comfortable making judgment calls when competing priorities arise

  • Ability to work non-standard work hours as needed including working nights, weekends, holidays, and shift-based schedules

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a get-it-done attitude

  • Obsessed with process improvement

  • Overnight, evening, and weekend hours will be required

  • Experience with Excel or Google Sheets strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with SQL a plus
