Kforce Project Coordinator/Scheduler in Denver, Colorado

Kforce is partnering with a long-time client on the east side of Denver, Colorado (CO). Summary:Our client is looking for a Project Coordinator with significant scheduling experience to help their PMO and IT organization pull projects together for better tracking. Our client is flexible with work hours and can generally accommodate 1-2 days of remote work when projects allow.The Project Coordinator will work under the guidance of the Business Technologies Program and Project Management teams to develop, maintain and track project schedules for various Business Technologies related efforts. The Project Coordinator will facilitate planning meetings with various technical teams to gather the input necessary to build detailed schedules. The Project Coordinator must have prior experience with developing project schedules, preferably with Microsoft Project or Project Online. The Project Coordinator should have prior experience working with technical teams. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Project Schedules

  • Facilitate Planning Sessions

  • Maintain Project Schedules

  • Report Schedule Status

  • Maintain project related documentation, and communicate project risks and issues to the Program and/or Project Manager they are supporting

  • A certificate in Project Management or Project Management Institute Project Management Professional credentials would be a plus, but not necessarily required

  • Experienced in Project Scheduling

  • MS Project Online highly desired

  • Strong people coordination skills, will be working across multiple projects and teams
