Duties, responsibilities andactivities may change at any time with or without notice.We are an equal opportunity employer.M/W/VET/DISABLEDJob DescriptionPosition Summary: This position is responsible for sorting hold areaslabs, selecting slabs with a crane and forklift, and building orders forcustomers while maintaining quality and safety standardsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Build loads for samples and Cambria customers as neededOperate a forklift and overhead crane throughout your shiftSort slabs and store them in the correct locations by dispositionComplete daily safety inspections of forklift and craneParticipate in quarterly cycle countsOrganize and maintain overall appearance of the warehouse including rawmaterials, packages, and pallets to ensure timely, accurate and carefuldeliveryMove materials to and from staging areas, production areas, and deliveryvehicles using a forklift and ensure slabs are correctly scanned at time ofmovementMaintain and report inventory needsProvide documentation, including daily checklists, for the forklift andensure it is accurateSustain an understanding of the load staging process, A-frame and slabreturn process, load verification process and the load planner reportUphold an understanding of Report Server, Reports, Oracle, TelnetScanning and other company computer based programsKeep work area clean and orderlyPerform job duties safely as outlined in the Warehouse Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs)Additional duties as assigned by managementJob RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operationAbility to read and write in English to complete required documentationBasic computer skillsEducation: N/AExperience: N/ASystems: N/APreferred Qualifications:Forklift experienceCritical thinking and troubleshooting skillsBasic math skillsMechanically inclinedIndustrial work experienceHigh School Diploma or GEDCambria Success Factors:High attention to detailReliable and punctualDirect communicationSense of urgency in completing workCapable of multitaskingWork well both independently and with a teamSelf-motivatedManagerial Responsibilities: N/ATravel Requirements: N/APhysical Requirements:Lift up to 50 lbsPush/pull 100 lbs.
