We are seeking a Structural Technician with a high school diploma or GEDequivalent and at least 5 years of relevant experience. What to look forward to: As an Structural Technician, youwill be using your skills and expertise to perform variety of our operationsprocedures to assemble and/or create major assembly structures and minorpart-fitting operations. You'll be responsible for modifying incomplete andcomplete assemblies and incorporating the changes into the structure,monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process orother control procedures, and performing various maintenance duties.Job Description:Employee will be responsible performing in depth sheet-metal repairs andmodifications on both piston and jet aircraft in the general aviation arena.The position will require the ability to make decisions related to the propertechniques and materials needed to perform the work. Some travel both domesticand international may be required to recover damaged aircraft or repairaircraft at the customer facility. Employee must be proficient in all aircraftmanufacturer's support manuals to allow complete research into a repairprograms or maintenance functions.Applicant Requirements:Technical License - AandP or 5 years aviation manufacturing backgroundMinimum of 8 years hands-on aircraft maintenance, structures andmodification experience in general aviation and corporate aircraft is arequirementAbility to read blueprints.Must have own hand tools to complete sheet metal tasks.Understanding of all aircraft manufacturers Maintenance Manuals, IllustratedParts Catalogs, Structural Repair Manuals, Service Bulletins is a must.Excellent written and vocal skills, ability to communicate well.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookNo limitations on confined space entry and ability to lift 50 poundsNo drug or alcohol convictions within the last 3 yearsSalary and Benefits4 - day work week, 10 hour days.
