Description Job SummaryResponsible for developing a robust inventory management system partneringclosely with operations, program management, production control, andsourcing. Develop a high performing team of inventory analysts with theultimate goal of optimizing inventory and improving supply chain servicelevels through a combination of historical analysis, statisticalforecasting, and managing inventory planning as an integral part of theSandOP process. Additionally, manage and develop warehouse/logistics teamto ensure traceability of materials, quick turnarounds of receipts, andensuring that product is shipped on time.Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:Develop and manage data-driven inventory management process to maintainoptimal inventory levels, improve turns, and support internal and externaldemandSupervise and oversee team of inventory analysts, material handlers,configuration specialist, and shipping and receiving personnelMaintain work instructions and ensures direct reports are adequately trainedand cross-trained so they are fully capable of performing their duties.Support SandOP process through data analysis, inventory planning, anddeveloping strategies and processes to optimize inventory while ensuring thenecessary service levelsWork closely with procurement/sourcing org to ensure purchase orders alignwith inventory strategy, support last-time buy discussions, and optimizeorder parameters based on demandManage inventory accuracy working closely with shipping/receiving/materialhandling activities including, but not limited to a structured cycle countprogChampion continuous improvement to support business processes and improveinternal metrics and external customer satisfactionProvide and report out on inventory analysis to Division Leadership on amonthly basisManage physical inventory process on at least a yearly basisReview adjustments made by Inventory AnalystsMaintain the required reports for Sarbanes Oxley (or similar)accountability as neededOther duties as assignedAdditional Job RequirementsRegular scheduled attendanceIndicate the percentage of time spent traveling - 10%Subject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, regular attendanceis an essential function of the position.
