Wireless Advocates Regional Fleet Manager in FORT COLLINS, Colorado

The Fleet Manager will be reporting to the Regional Commercial Sales Manager for the territory and be responsible for growing and expanding our current fleet business and regional fleet market share. This individual will have coverage area of front range from Fort Collins to South Springs.

  • Markets Car Toys fleet program to external customers through sales calls, trade shows, and other events that provide max ROI.

  • Works closely with store personnel, RCSM, and Commercial Product Merchant to ensure existing customer relationships are providing maximum output.

  • Procures and manages small, medium, large fleet accounts personally to ensure quality service

  • Achieve all fleet sales and profit goals

  • Effectively manages opportunities using our Gov Spend/Smart Procure platform for leads/bids.

  • Works closely with Retail RM and RCSM to ensure store processes are effective in gaining Fleet Leads.

  • Establishes & maintains the Company culture through personally demonstrating and reinforcing the Company’s Guiding Principles.

Other Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Outside Sales

  • Makes sales calls to new, existing, and potential fleet clients. Meets or exceeds company standards for appearance and professionalism.

  • Plans and communicates visits, sales calls, and any follow-up required via CRM.

  • Timely review of all sales reports and plans accordingly to maximize results and improve performance in deficient areas.

  • Customer Service

  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Exceeds minimum customer service performance standards by setting high customer service expectations and consistently rewarding desired behaviors while eliminating undesired behaviors. Actively demonstrates the Company Guiding Principles in all interactions with Company employees and customers. Listens carefully and responds timely.

  • Financial Performance

  • Attains territory fleet goals by planning, directing, and coordinating efforts and execution around fleet growth. Maximizes performance by researching, listening, and understanding the Fleet space, and has a strategic view of how to grow market share within his/her territory. Effectively manages expense budgets.

  • Communication

  • Ensures complete and timely communication of Company objectives, policies and initiatives throughout the company with store staff, and Fleet accounts. Ensures that communication between all parties is consistent, ongoing, united, and informed. Fosters an environment of open and upward communication with all team members to ensure a thorough understanding of issues, effective conflict resolution and an upward flow of creative ideas for the benefit of the department and Company. Establishes working relationships based on trust and respect. Responds timely to internal and external customers. Effectively follows up on situations with internal and external customers. Actively communicates issues and concerns with supervisor in a timely manner.

  • Operations

  • Achieves operational objectives ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures. Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that special inventory purchased for fleet sales are kept from becoming aging inventory

  • Assisting Accounts Receivable with the collection of unpaid billings

  • Works with Commercial Merchant to ensure appropriate fleet product line-up

  • Coordinates installation logistics for large offsite jobs or large in-store fleet jobs with Central Support partners

  • Self-Development

  • Continually strives for higher personal performance production, while gaining new business for Car Toys. Works to increase productivity of stores and the business lead program by sharing knowledge, techniques, and mentorship. Strives to bring Car Toys Fleet Division to a recognized and highly regarded channel of Car Toys, Inc.

Working Relationships

  • Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, peers, internal and external customers. Provide excellent problem resolution to clients, and document client opportunities for future needs to better assist in the overall success of the client. Diffuse upset customers with an effort to minimize future problems.

Physical Job Description

  • This position will include office and field work to effectively manage the business and grow the fleet channel.

  • Experience in business to business relationships; with emphasis in Fleet Sectors

  • Multi-unit management

  • Must have good driving record, insurance and reliable transportation.

  • Can work independently with minimal direct management from supervisor.

  • Safety, Security, Telematics product knowledge a plus.

  • Good at short term and long term strategic planning. Past experience writing business plans, budgeting, and managing a P&L a plus.

  • Effective communication skills. Must demonstrate prior success in employee development, participation in problem solving, relationship building with customers.

  • High level of ambition.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Demonstrated leadership by example in a changing environment

  • Objectivity, meeting facilitation, coaching and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to uphold Company policies and procedures.

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Windows based software.

  • This position is primarily walking, driving, standing or sitting while making sales calls. Work is performed mostly “on-the-road” making visits to existing and prospective clients. About 10% of the time will be spent at a desk or office environment.
