The Headlines :

In the role of Network Modeler working in Golden, CO you will be part of the Customer Supply Chain Organization . You will provide modelling and analytical services to plan and improve supply chain performance for MillerCoors’ 50+ million barrel beverage network. Supply Chain network design includes but is not limited to: warehouse and transportation network optimization, manufacturing and capacity network optimization and supply chain simulation.

In this role, projects will focus on both strategic and tactical planning horizons to help optimize supply chain performance including: service, cost, inventory and capital. Determine the brewing, packaging, distribution, and supplier capability to optimize the MillerCoors supply chain. .

This position reports to the Manager of Manufacturing and Distribution Planning and works closely with Sales Operation Managers, Distributors, and Logistics Team.

The Responsibilities :

  • Technical expertise in supply chain design, project management, model building and delivery of results, application of best practices and analytic tools, documentation and training.

  • Build and maintain complex network design models, using knowledge of end to end supply chain processes, including supplier networks, manufacturing, logistics and customer fulfilment.

  • Stay up to speed with external best practices and technology and apply them internally to Supply Chain Design

  • Identifies and builds collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, both inside and outside of Integrated Supply Chain. Work with and educate key stakeholders on modelling methodology.

  • Contributes to the definition of future state network and capacity planning processes and systems for the enterprise to include optimization systems.

The Other Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Applied Mathematics or related discipline and 5-7 years of experience in supply chain

  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with:

  • LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Logic Net Plus, or similar Network Design Application

  • Data Management Tools (Excel, Access, SQL)

  • Reporting Tools (Tableau preferred)

  • You love a challenge. You have expert knowledge and full understanding of interdependencies of production and capacity planning, scheduling processes, distribution methods, inventory management, material flow and planning, and a working knowledge of forecasting, transportation, distributor operations, and budgets

  • You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of optimization and simulation based models

  • Excellent PC (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS-Outlook) and analytical skills, experience in Business Objects and SAP are highly desirable

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or another relevant field
