Department: Construction Classification: Non-Exempt, Bargaining Reports to: Purchasing/Warehouse Manager Location: Lakewood, CO General Summary The Warehouse Driver (WD) position is responsible for receiving,organizing and delivering materials, tools and equipment to job sites. TheWD role works collaboratively and respectfully with all supervisors,peers, administrative staff, field craft workers, field supervision,vendors, and subcontractors, to meet both project and companyobjectives, based the values of Mission First, People Always. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Read instructions, directions or specifications to plan and completedaily work activities. * Receive, offload, check in and inspect material orders ensuringaccuracy of order and delivery. Ensure the security of the materials andstorage facilities. * Properly load, secure, and inspect loads for transport to and fromprojects, and monitor load during transport. * Operate Forklift and other equipment as necessary to load/offloadmaterials, in accordance with safety requirements. * Assist in the scheduling of material and equipment pickup and deliveryto meet deadlines and maintain an efficient warehouse and delivery system. * As directed by the Purchasing/Warehouse Manager: o Maintain company tool and equipment delivery o Assist with maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment o Assist with warehouse upkeep, cleanliness, material control, andfleet care. * Practice and adhere to all Company operating policies, procedures,OSHA, and safety programs as established. Job Specifications * Basic computer skills in Microsoft 0365 and web interface. Must havethe demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally communicate inEnglish. * Ability to effectively and professionally communicate in Spanish is aplus. Minimum Requirements * High school diploma or GED. * Possess a valid Colorado Driver License with Clean Motor VehicleRecord. * Minimum one-year experience driving commercial vehicles and trailerspreferred. * Ability to pass a DOT Physical and drug screen. * Ability to pass a background check as may be required at various jobsites. * Class B CDL preferred. * Working knowledge of the construction industry, OSHA, and relevantsafety practices preferred. * Possess a positive attitude toward career development and companyprocess/policy improvement.
