The Supply Chain intern will be responsible for assisting the Colorado supply chain team in meeting both departmental and corporate objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities, which could include reporting, analytics, purchase order creation and maintenance, warehouse operations, and improving supply chain business process systems.
Assist/Support Purchasing department on a daily basis.
Access and navigate QAD enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
Participate in weekly supply planning meetings
Assist with internal / global communications on daily topics.
Analyze, simplify, and generate process and procedure documents for critical supply chain functions.
Assist Supply Chain Director, or designee, with automating the collection of departmental metrics.
Perform data collection, spreadsheet creation, and data analysis.
Assist business planning team with various forecasting and analysis as needed.
Assist warehousing team with business process improvements.
Undergraduate pursuing major in Supply Chain Management.
Solid analytical skills and self-motivated.
Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
Willingness to work in a team environment.
Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
The level of this position will be based on the final candidate’s qualifications.
