MATHESON Tri-Gas Inc Manufacturing Technical Coordinator in Longmont, Colorado

Position Summary:

As a Manufacturing Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, cross-functional project delivery across planning, purchasing and manufacturing as it pertains to returned material and spare parts, for the UHP Equipment & Purification group. This individual will be based in the Longmont, CO branch.

Position Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing returned material program.

  • Communicate with customers regularly and provide reports and updates to ensure proper priority is given to their returned material.

  • Work with the manufacturing floor to prioritize and coordinate the assessment, deployment, and completion of returned material.

  • Coordinate the overall planning for repairs and upgrades to customer owned products.

  • Coordinate the overall planning of spare parts orders.

  • Assist in the return of customer owned products to suppliers for evaluation, repair, upgrade and or PM.

  • Communicate with suppliers as necessary, to ensure proper and prompt service and defect analysis of returned products.

  • Keep comprehensive records of all activities.

Qualifications:

  • AA, AS, BS or equivalent in Business Management, Engineering or a related field, or non-degree with 7+ years of experience in a similar field.

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a project manager with manufacturing experience

  • Tolerant of ambiguity and the flexibility to work well in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills, written and oral

    • Required Skills:
    • Ability to utilize the basic Microsoft Office programs (MSWord, MSExcel and MS Outlook).
  • Must be an excellent team member (good communication skills, respectful of others and able to collaborate on solutions).Ability to read and understand design and assembly drawings, Bills of Material and P&IDs.

  • Problem solving and critical analysis skills.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Utilization of drawing vaults.
  • Accessing information management systems.

  • Process improvement projects (Six Sigma, Lean, etc)
