POSITION: Logistics ExpeditorDUTIES: This is a project-based position reporting to the SeniorProcurement Specialist and will be responsible for on-time delivery of majorequipment, critical path items, and all other materials consistent withproject schedules and close items as needed with necessary receiving and otherfollow-up activities.* Facilitate imports in accordance with US regulations and INCO terms* Provide excellent and timely customer service to internal customers infulfilling the procurement and material management process* Expedite equipment and materials when required and handle any unanticipatedrequests or other problems on materials purchased* Work closely with project teams to maintain purchasing databases to ensureall departments have prompt, accurate information* Review and Plan requirements for purchasing materials* Coordinate and define required expediting-tasks for all placed purchaseorders. Contact suppliers .and. update progress / expediting reports as needed* Expedite material to meet developed estimated completion dates* Work with transporting materials and parts to designated locations perrequest for proposal (RFP)REQUIREMENTS:* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics,Engineering, or equivalent experience* Logistics and expediter experience and commercial contract expertise* Minimum 3 years' of related experience in vendor/carrier management ina Supply Chain or E-Commerce environmentOTHER REQUIREMENTS:* Capable of creating written reports, proposals, processes, andproject documentation* Knowledge of purchasing processes (SOP's, RFP/RFQ/RFI's,PO's, Gap Analysis, etc.)* Excellent negotiation, organization, analytical, and communicationskills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-qualityre* Understanding of INCOTERMS and familiarity with customs, tax, and dutyrequirements for international shipping* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook* Strong experience with supplier performance management and reporting inworking with performance metrics, performance scorecards. and supplier review* Ability to cope with a changing environmentAll applicants must be legally able to work in the USA without sponsorship.WAGE: Negotiable DOESHIFTS: Discuss with EmployerJOB SITE: Pueblo CoBENEFITS: Full company benefits package to include medical, dental, vision,defined pension plan, profit sharing and, 401K matching.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: If you meet the minimum requirements for thisposition, please click on How to Apply' to view application information.You must be registered with Connecting Colorado to view the applicationinformation (registration is available at no cost).
