We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler . This position will support the Pueblo Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) located in Pueblo, Colorado . The selected candidate will be responsible for the schedule leadership for the project and will work closely with the project management team and the prime contractor.
The selected candidate will lead the development and implementation of an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliant with ANSI/EIA 748 and industry standard guidelines leading to validation of the EVMS. The selected candidate will also generate written and verbal reports and presentations directed to management and customers that describe cost and schedule status, identify and resolve complex issues, and train and mentor junior staff and Control Account Managers (CAMs).
Develop, maintain, and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), using Primavera P3 and P6, for the PCAPP project as well as maintain schedules for other special studies.
Work closely with the prime contractor ensuring schedule integration with the project IMS.
Maintain the schedule baseline and incorporate schedule changes.
Perform Critical Path Analysis to include working closely with the prime contractor to develop monthly project critical paths.
Development and implement scheduling standards and procedures.
Review monthly input to EVMS for quality/accuracy.
Perform schedule risk analysis.
Perform schedule health assessments using the DCMA 14 point analysis.
Coordinate budget and scope changes with the Cost Analyst; verify cost and schedule integration.
Coordinate and conduct schedule review meetings with CAMs and Project Management.
Support proposal efforts with schedule development.
Responsible for development and implementation of an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliant with ANSI/EIA 748 and industry standard guidelines leading to validation of the EVMS.
Other duties as assigned.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and minimum five years relevant experience with the development and implementation of integrated master scheduling or equivalent years of education and experience.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with internal and external resources.
Strong computer skills with proficiency with technical tools and resources for applicable to area.
Must be a U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products and Project Management software, specifically Primavera P3 and P6.
In-depth knowledge of NDIA PMSC Earned Value Management System Intent Guide and EVMS policies and procedures.
Ability to demonstrate good organization, communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Flexible with a high commitment to achieve deadlines.
MBA or other advanced education.
Professional certifications (PMP, EVP, PSP, etc.).
Prior government, performance based contracting experience working with validated earned value management systems.
Construction, operation, and environmental management experience.
Successfully pass medical screen, including the ability to wear a respirator and other PPE, may involve work in close proximity of toxic chemicals.
