The position is NOT with AdamsCounty. ****Requirements:Positive attitude and self-motivation criticalOffice skills including the use of Microsoft products and to adapt toproprietary technologiesWorks well with a TeamAbility to lift 40lb. regularly and safelyDelivery driving and customer service experience preferred.Vehicle in good operating condition - mileage reimbursedCOVID-19 considerations:Standard PPE and Social Distancing practiced.Education and Qualifications:Driver's license and clean driving record and auto insurance with Coloradostate minimumsTwo years of office administrative work requiredPreferred: Delivery driving one year of experienceDemonstrated experience working with diverse populationsBasic Computer skills and program proficiencyDuties:Delivers food boxes to individuals who are unable to access food on their own.Due to the pandemic, the need is great! Serving in this position is agreat way to provide support to those less fortunate, assist in controllingthe pandemic as fewer vulnerable individuals are leaving home, and provide aneeded service in your community.The Delivery Driver/Administrative individual will split their time betweendelivering food boxes to households in the metro Denver area and providingadministrative support to the Benefits in Action Food Delivery program thatlaunched during COVID. This position will build connections with householdswho are food insecure and help develop strong relationships with local foodpantries and food suppliers.The position consists working with local food pantries and food suppliersloading vehicles for deliveries by volunteer drivers and making food boxdeliveries in Jefferson, Denver, Adams, and Arapahoe counties.The position will order food for purchase, schedule pickups anddeliveries, work directly with volunteers and drivers to ensure they havethe tools they need to do their jobs. The position will submit payroll andmileage reports on behalf of drivers and work closely with both the FoodDelivery Resources Coordinator and other staff.Mileage reimbursed.This is a part or full-time, hourly position, requiring occasional eveningand weekend work and the ability to be flexibleand responsive to emergent needs******This position is grant funded and candidates must qualify for fundingthrough Adams County Workforce and Business Center******
